Do not brush the REMAINING egg on the top. If u do, u will have an omelet on ur pie. Im just sayin man.😉
The first peaches are just ripening now. It's a good time to make peach pie.

PLEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEE take the background music OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not really old fashioned if you are using store bought crust.
No
I love peach most in any fruits
If I was to use canned peaches how many cans would I need
Pathetic. A real cook would have made that crust instead of buying it.
where the hell is the Godamn recipe?
How disappointing……old fashioned pie does not mean using store bought pie dough!! It should be called an old fashioned peach pie with a modern twist. I guess it would be ok if one was using canned(yuck)peaches. Of course this is just my opinion, and not meant to offend anyone.
Lol my family would not be happy about any crust being cut off. We love our crust.
Peach Pie is f in disgusting
I'd like to know the brand if pie crust you use.,mine never roll out that nice!!
That looked more than a half cup of flour and more than cup of sugar 🧐
I think I love you
Fifteen people don't like Peach Pie? Those savages!
I'm patiently waiting for mine to cook. Ten minutes in so far!
can I use frozen peaches
well I'm off to the store. I'm making peach pie…
This recipe was really delicious! My only tweak would be to bake the bottom crust first before adding the filling. Without that the bottom is very doughy.
Hi.could you make thai coconut soup and fried bananas?
Hi.could you make thai coconut soup and fried bananas?
I'll be using canned peaches, do I have to boil them too?
Thank you for your question, Tessa. The bottom pie crust is brushed with an egg which will prevent it from getting soggy. Also, the flour mixed in with the peaches will soak up and thicken up the juice. Enjoy!
Will the bottom pie crust not get soggy with all that liquid from the peaches?
Made one from Red Indian Peaches, and then one from the tree that is grafted from Cling Peaches; Nectarine, and of course the last graff was the Red Indian Peach. The
Tree grown of three varieties was most outstanding to say the least.
Does any one want seeds from these trees, or a seedling? After making peach butter and pies I also saved fifteen seedlings from the two trees. Last year I gave friends and neighbors twelve trees plus the others were left out for the taking. ( free )

Hot Damn! I might have to break my diet for this pie!
How many peaches makes 5 cups?
dont throw away those strips of extra pie dough…just coat with a bit of milk then sprinkle on cinnamon-sugar and bake them on a little pie plate for a few minutes,,,delicious cookies. I sometimes freeze the dough strips til I have enough to make a big batch.
Thank you for your question. If you don't have fresh peaches on hand, it's better to use frozen rather then canned. Because canned peaches are already cooked, they will turn too mushy in the pie.
It helps thicken the peach juices, adds flavor and gloss to the resulting peach sauce.
Actually it's not silly using fresh peaches. There's nothing better than using anything that's fresh. No added preservatives
sorry for my input but how was that snarky
Did I ask for your input? No I did not. I voiced my opinion, I did not invite your snarky reply.
what's wrong with that if it is working pretty well?
who peels peaches with a vegetable peeler, how silly!
Can tis be done with canned peaches?
Flavour and to help thicken the filling
What's the point of adding butter?
