FULL QUANTITY
280g White Chocolate
200g (Half a can) Condensed Milk
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Approx 10 Cookies

280g Dark Chocolate (I used 54%)
50g Butter
200g (Half a can) Condensed Milk
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Good pinch of Salt

HALF QUANTITY
140g White Chocolate
100g Condensed Milk
1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
Approx 5 Cookies

140g Dark Chocolate (I used 54%)
25g Butter
100g (Half a can) Condensed Milk
1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
Good pinch of Salt

    Hi Sally x is the finished product meant to come out of the tin easily? Mine got stuck. Not sure if it was due to doing the half quantities is maybe in a little too big tin. It only had about 1/2 inch of both layers. Just wanted to know if it does get stuck or not x it was still lovely though

    Hi! I tried this the other day and it didn’t work 😭 the mixture went grainy and did not melt together, there was no water anywhere and I put it down to simmer and it just didn’t take 😔 I’ve loved every other recipes, I swear by the cupcake recipes it’s all I use!

    This recipe shud be for cold parts of the world. I made it in Pakistan in an area with ambient temperature around 40 Degrees C, it went well until i kept it in refrigerator, and when i took it out to serve it started melting ad went difficult to cut and handle.

    1. line tin/dish/bowl
    2. over a bain marie (a metal bowl that sits above a simmering pot of around an inch of water, bowl doesnt touch the water) add white chocolate + half a can (usually 400g, so use 200g for this part) of condensed milk + vanilla extract.
    3. smash the cookies!
    4. constantly stir until smooth and then add the cookies. stir quickly bc it'll set really quick.
    5. dump into tin and smooth with a palette knife or back of spoon until level. leave it to cool and set for 2 hours
    6. CHOCOLATE LAYER – add dark chocolate, butter and vanilla extract over bain marie until melted.
    7. take it off the bain marie and stir in the other condensed milk portion
    8. pour over the cookies and cream layer and set for an hour
