Is it possible to substitute chocolate chips for other forms of chocolate, like pistoles?

Just tasted them 10 minutes ago. And omg.. they are DELICIOUS! They are heaven on earth. My parents agreed with me! Even while I did it a little bit different: I didn't use ready to use chocolate chips but I chopped up cheap chocolate bars and I've had them in the freezer for about 6 days. My mum was very happy to hear that I still have 8 of them in the freezer, ready to bake!

  5. Thara Thivna says:

If you prefer less sweet or using 300g of semi sweet chocolate chips, you would want to reduce the sugar for a perfect cookies.

  6. Shan xx says:

definetly follow the step of freezing the dough as i didnt and theyre still lovely but just not like the image

  7. hoffmanyou64 says:

My daughter made these for me for mothers day and they were amazing. Can only eat one a day, they are like a meal by themselves.

  8. Catherine Artola says:

I didnt knew about those baking kits, so I was wondering how would they send the butter and eggs to not mess up the rest, when she said they didn't include those. Great idea you guys! Your recipies look delicious, but in my country is hard to find some ingredients, so these are very useful 😀

  9. Nicole Caballero says:

I want to try this recipe so badly but I don't have any access to plain flour will I be able to use self raising flour and take the baking powder out? Also I only have access to granulated sugar will this make a difference?

  10. Daina Nguyen says:

best cookie recipe, I've made these twice already during quarantine.

  11. Rebecca says:

I’ve been baking for 10 years and I’d say I’m a fairly good, but every recipe I’ve tried from this channel has missed the mark including this one. I love your cakes in store though so I would only assume you don’t give away all your secrets which I completely understand!

If you are making these cookies then do they have to go in the freezer, can the be cooked straight away? If so how long would you put them in the oven for?

Love love all the NYC cookies, however I noticed this recipe has the same amount of salt as the larger potions recipe. Noticed this after tasting these that I have just baked and can definitely taste the salt, would recommend halving which I will be doing in future.

  22. cravingcheesez says:

Hi cupcake jemma!!! I tried this recipe but would like to clarify to put the cookie dough into the freezer or just the fridge would do? I tried mine by putting it into the freezer but they baked for 14minutes but still rounded 😭

  23. Trish says:

can i use Dark choco chips only? if yes, should i adjust anything?

  24. FlyingSolo says:

I’ve just made this dough and it’s in the freezer ready for baking tomorrow yay. No mixer so I used a wooden spoon and elbow grease – for some reason my dough looks much paler than Sally’s so I really hope I haven’t messed it up! 🍪🤞🏼

I'm about to make these cookies, and found that this recipe is a little bit different from your previous video of NY chocolate chip cookies, does it affect on the taste of cookies, too? And which recipe do you recommend to follow? I'm wondering this recipe above is the revised and improved one from the previous one…?

  41. Kathy V M says:

The 14 minutes is way to short in my oven. They are pale and not fully spread (still a ball). So I put them in for longer. Just so you know 😊

It’s been 20 mins and it has jus become a soft rock form a solid one. But no other changes. Could you help?
