Tiramisu is the only dessert I will ever order in an Italian restaurant. It’s simple, decadent but not too rich, a little bit naughty and, most importantly, it’s flipping delicious! So here’s my recipe so that you can make it at home. **If you want to substitute any of the ingredients, buy store bought cake or sponge fingers, leave out the Marsala wine and replace it with anything at all, you don’t need to ask me…just go for it!**
1x 10” square tin
1x Pyrex/clear dish to assemble your tiramisu (whatever you’d like!) For the sponge fingers:

250g unsalted butter
250g caster sugar
4 large free range eggs
250g self raising flour
3 tbsp whole milk
1 tsp vanilla .
Mascarpone Cream
.
3 egg yolks
110g caster sugar
150g mascarpone cheese
200ml double cream
230 ml coffee
115ml Marsala wine
Cocoa powder for dusting .

Hi Jemma, I'd love to see some of your ideas for dessert video's, I've made crème brulee and chocolate orange mouse, but need more inspiration. We know you are the cupcake goddess, but what other tricks or treats do you have hidden up your sleeves. Used to make this at Pizza express, can't stand coffee, but in desserts, it just so works.

Love all your recipes and I apologize in advance for nitpicking here, but I watched this multiple times and couldn't figure out the measurements until I actually counted onscreen. At 9:48 you are cutting the sponge into 2 rows of 8 = 16. At 17:40 you create 2 layers of 9 pieces each = 18. So will one 10" tin be enough? Do I need to bake several sponges?

I made a Tiramisu once. I think it was really good. I'd never had it before because I don't drink coffee. I used ladyfingers. I pretty much did everything but bake the ladyfingers and the Masala wine.
