The Vegans have spoken! And they want MORE VEGAN RECIPES! So to celebrate #worldveganday today, here is a must-have recipe for Vegan Red Velvet Cupcakes!

Recipe –
For the cupcakes…
245g soya milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tbsp cider vinegar
110g sunflower oil
200g plain flour
10g cocoa powder
3/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
200g caster sugar

For the vegan buttercream…
250g vegan spread
830g icing sugar, sifted
1 tbsp lemon juice

    I never got the "red velvet " thing, why a red color would make a simple chocolate cake better? Chocolate cake is already awesome, why the need of food coloring to make it fancy?


    Do you happen to have a red velvet recipe with beetroot instead of food coloring??. I can´t find one that really convinces me
