I’m making these right now, but they have been an hour in the oven, and they’re still not done. I’ve followed the recepie, i don’t understand where i went wrong 🤔
I used peppermint extract plus vanilla and it watered down my merengue 🙁 the trees didn't hold their shape
mine were supper soft and like a marshmallow. any advice??

I just made this twice and both times my trees were more like shurbs

The recipe is really straightforward and I did it for the first time and it turns out very well. Going to try your other recipes too. Your instruction is very clear and thanks for the very lively video
When you wipe down the bowl & whisk with vinegar, do you wash them after before adding any ingredients? The smell is awful.
I tried this recipe twice. The first batch was just really wet….after the 30 min….never set. Second time, I am leaving them in about twice as long…checked my oven temp and it is a perfect 90C…?..

This is absolutely rubbish I made these and had to do it 4 times cos it was too floppy and then they didn’t even rise

Hi Jemma.. Made these today and they turned out tasty. But it took them around 60 minutes to get cooked. How come?
Hi Jemma, I’ve tried this recipe but my meringue outside is crunching but inner are soft seems like not fully baked inside. May I know how can make it fully baked? At the beginning I’ve tried with 90c with 30minutes but it is soft, than I tried with 100c with another 25minutes. However it able to remove from the pan but inside are soft after I open it. Any advice on this?
I tried making these twice and everything went perfect until I added vanilla and color. It made it too loose and would not hold shape. Can anyone tell me what went wrong? I'm not sure if it was the color or extract that did it. 😕

Jemma, I wanted to make your Christmas tree meringue and Iced gems this coming Christmas and both of them needs to be baked at 90°c but I discovered that my oven's minimum temperature were 110°c. And I don't want my candies to melt. What should i do? Please, help. Thank you so much. Happy Christmas!
