Maybe a bit of a stupid question but do you always add vanilla extract even if your going to be doing different flavours? Or do you only add the flavour that you want it to be ? Thanks in advance!

For stable butter cream only the cream cheese and vege shortening recipes work…anything that uses butter will melt after more than 20 mins unless the room temp is less than 15 degrees

Bad recipe, first time my butter cream has ever turned out bad. Couldn’t hold the weight of the take on top all the butter cream just came out of all the sides. It was loose, not worth your time. And doesn’t make a batch big enough at least double it

Hi Gemma, I’m starting on the world of decorating cakes but we are trying to do low sugar things as possible. Any ideas what is the minimum sugar it can be use for the butter cream but good enough to hold even the Russian piping? ( saw your video earlier on the Russian piping I’m super excited to give it a go). Thank you
