Super easy Honeycomb/Cinder Toffee recipe | Cupcake Jemma

This is one of the most satisfying things to make and it only has 3 ingredients in it, which make it kind of magical, in my opinion! It always reminds me of Autumn but the reality is that it is great all year round!

250g Golden Syrup (or liquid glucose or corn syrup)
250g caster sugar
3.75 tsp bicarbonate of soda

I just made this, i ran out of corn syrup so i used like 30 grams of honey. Also y couldn't find my candy thermometer so i really apreciate that you showed how hardball stage looks like. Can't wait 4 it to cool down <3

  2. Crystal Liu says:

    Honeycomb without honey 🙁

  3. Beth Zeka says:

I made this tonight and am so disappointed ☹ I watched the candy thermometer like a hawk and it burnt anyway AND the bits on the side that don't taste burnt taste like baking soda 🤦‍♀️

In America it's called sponge toffee

  13. Miejoe says:

    Any substitue for golden syrup?

  17. Joe Walker says:

Made some last week to a different recipe and it came out all flat and sticky. After a bit of a snope I found out it's because the recipe called for water to be added (the enemy of dry, crisp toffee). Just tried your recipe and it has come out fantastic. A lovely treat for bonfire night.

  18. Ana Şinca says:
