How to Make a Filthy Snickers Pavlova | Cupcake Jemma

OMGILOVESNICKERS!!! This recipe pimps it right up by turning the idea of a Snickers in to a Pavlova. And you thought Pavlovas were boring…


For the meringue…
4 large egg whites
1 tsp white wine vinegar
250g caster sugar
1/2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp cocoa powder

For the cream…
50g double cream
70g peanut butter
200g double cream

Salted caramel, chopped roasted and salted peanuts, melted chocolate and chopped up Snickers to decorate.

    Hi Jemma, this pavlova tastend delicious!! I have made it 2 times for my familie. The only thing that was not great was the merinque. Both times it was a bit "runny". So I had a great tasting pavlova but it was flat. Don't now what I did wrong. Do you have any idea? However I'm gonna try againπŸ˜€

    That's an interesting Pav. Pav just isn't for fruits anymore. You can also use the flavor profile from a Banoffee cake/pie?? You can have A fruit AND all that chocolate, caramel, and nuts goodness all in one Pav. I made one a few months ago. I've always stuck with making Pav with fruits and lemon curd mixed in the whipping cream but when I came across a video for the Banoffee I went for it. For some reason mine didn't come out right (the base). I tried again using the Pav recipe I've always used and it was a success. I was able to pile TWO layers of those ingredients on one Pav. It was so delicious. Give it a try. You won't be sorry… πŸ˜‹

    I tried to make this… Baked it at 150 for an hour and 45 mins and it was so over baked and dry. I've looked at other pavlova recipes and they seem to say cook it for less time and at a lower heat. Was the temperature in this video fan assisted? Has anyone else baked this for that long?
