How to Make Nutella Profiteroles | Cupcake Jemma



Choux pastry is a recipe you should have in your repertoire fo’ sure! It is really fun to make and you can fill your profiteroles with so many wonderful things but Nutella cream might have to be my all-time favourite!

Recipe –
For the pastry…
100g unsalted butter
125ml water
125ml whole milk
Pinch of salt
1 tsp sugar
150g plain flour
4 lg eggs

For the Nutella ganache
100g double cream
75g nutella
50g 70% chocolate

For the Nutella filling
250g double cream
2 tbsp Nutella

    I tired this recipe. It was amazing! However, my profiteroles were stuck to the wax paper. Some eventually had no bottom because I had to tear them away. Why is this? How can I prevent this from happening?

    I tried the recipe and it was a success. The Nutella genache is a great match with the light Choux pastry. However without the exact weight of the eggs , I ended up using six eggs to reach the triangle consistency of the batter. And I also compared to other recipes so I baked for 22minutes at 200degrees c

    Very well explained and presented – just wonderign would it be better to pierce the hole in the bottom as soon as they come out of the oven – lets the steam escape and the won't be soggy inside?
