I teamed up with Grow Wild, the UK’s biggest ever wild flower campaign, to encourage you guys to get out there and sow some wild flowers. And if you sow edible ones you can use them to decorate your cakes and bakes!
Head to www.growwilduk.com to sow a seed on their virtual map, for growing tips and more!
You will need:
A layer cake of your choice with enough buttercream to fill and cover it.
Edible wild flowers. Try and get ones that are native to wear you are.
Egg white
Caster sugar

i think this is beautiful!
alguien que hable español y me pueda explicar bien, por favor:(
Oh my gosh, this is a beautiful, gorgeous and elegant piece of art! 🙂 And can sweet cicely be superseded by another hurb like mint? I think it would be almost impossible for me to find some here. Have a nice day! Thank you! 😀
Calendula petals look like mini carrots XD
Should I be worried about the uncooked egg whites? It makes me nervous when any part of an egg is uncooked…
I really, really, really love this cake! It's very pretty, & definitely something I want to try. I love the mixing of the dried petals into the buttercream, & then the pasting of more dried leaves & petals around the cake, & the delicate arrangement of the crystalized flowers on the top.
So close to 1M Subs!! 👍👍😊😊
is there any other way to preserve flowers n make them into sweets? My girlfriend loves violas and I really wanna make some, but she's allergic to eggs :/
Could someone tell me the name of the leaves that she uses at 5:32 please? Unfortunately I can't understand their name (English is not my first language) but they are so nice! They look like small fern 🙂
wow looks fantastic 😍

What's the sugar you used, Please??

We like your flower cake!
Precioso!!!!!!
That cake is so beautiful
This was so relaxing to watch.
I learned a lot from you
Jemma, can I use sucralose, stevia or erythritol as sugar subtitute?
(for all that need sugar in this recipe)
Beautiful! I'm inspired 🙂 just made my first crystallised wild violets yesterday. Someone suggested fingertips instead of paintbrush and that worked quite well. Also I used a coffee grinder to make fine sugar from granulated; can't find caster sugar in USA.
Could I persuade you to ditch use of "guys"? Not sure what happened, we got rid of "men" as th generic group name for people, now we have "guys", but worse still it is applied to animals and insects now too! So everything's in the masculine :(. For groups of people I use "folks" for animals and insects I just make do without.
I'm a female IT tech, all the men are called IT guys, but funnily enough it's never applied to me! proof enough that "guy" is a male gender specific word.
Your AMAZING
