What you’ll need:
4 layers of sponge (we used Madeira cake)
Buttercream & Jam
Sugarpaste/Fondant
White chocolate ganache (check back next week for recipe!)
Palette knives (big straight and small off-set)
Piping bags with large round nozzle
Cake scraper
Cake board/drum

Isn't just a crumbcoat enough for icing with fondant? Many people don't really like buttercream
Ganache is really tasty..but if we r using buttercream do we really hav to double coat it with butter cream ?even though we r gonna use fondant on it?
I didn't know you can smear on chocolate ganache the same way you do with butter cream. I thought ganache is very runny and has to be poured over.
