If, like me, you love to devour a hunk of cookie dough before you get your bake on then these cookies are for you. They have the benefit of being slightly undercooked in the middle so you can get you fix all the way through the life of your cookie!

225g unsalted butter, soft
100g caster sugar
170g light soft brown sugar
1 large free-range egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
235g plain flour, sifted
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp salt
100g white chocolate chips
50g macadamia nuts

    Attempted this recipe twice and it has failed on both occasions! I am so disappointed because I have tried many recipes from this channel and have turned out delicious however these cookies have been a disaster twice and I can see from the comments that others have said the same 🙁 they are so greasy and too sweet, I can't stand wasting food and hate that they are going to be binned. Sorry Jemma, I have so much love for you and your channel but this recipe is such a fail 😥😥😥

    i fucked up while making this.

    guys plz remember not to add too much brown sugar. i wanted mine a little bit softer and it turned like mush. Also i added way too many nuts.

    I have made this recipe and I absolutely love the taste. I didn't have brown sugar so I just used 180 grams white sugar. However the middle is a bit uncooked, almost raw. I think this is intentional since it's supposed to feel like cookie dough, but with my Asian tongue, the raw feel is a bit weird. I adjusted the temperature to 200 degree C and found that the cookie is cooked just enough and still has that soft chewy texture 😀 thank you so much for the recipe!

    I made them and they are delicious. I didn't have soft brown sugar so i could taste the sugar grains a bit. But this recipe is awesome. Also i didn't use macadamia nuts but white and milk chocolate chips. Definitely a keeper. Thanks Jemma!

    So I've made these and they're absolutely delicious! they spread quite a bit when baked and I needed to put them in the oven a little more longer. But yeah they're so good it reminded me of subway cookies haha

    Tried this recipe – it is INSANELY sweet, not in a good way. Avoid if you’re not British and used to overly sweet things. Needs more flour and less sugar.
