125g unsalted butter, softened
160g caster sugar
1 large free-range egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
240g plain flour, sifted
pink food colour paste
red food colour paste

    love her aqua(or baby blue?) coloured Kenwood….I have had Kenwood for almost 40 yrs (used to have 2)….and it is still going strong, even mix bread with dough hook sometimes…I cannot count how many cakes, cookies etc I have mixed with it.

    When I color my cookies I get worried that I overmix/knead but to get the colors even I kinda have to….well…knead pretty well. Any tips on this? I chicken out very fast I get lots of marble cookies, haha. Is it pretty obvious when you over knead? Anything to look our for? Thank you.
