I love nuts! They’re pretty cool right? Some nuts aren’t even NUTS! They are seeds. Or peas. Or drupes! But one of my favourite ‘nuts’ is a genuine, bone fide nut and that, people, is the mighty Pecan. To celebrate it’s true unequivocal nuttiness, I’m going to show you how to make it even more delicious by turning it into brittle. Sure, you can use this method to ‘brittalize’ pretty much any of the above but this one is my favourite and so I’m sharing it with you.
½ cup water
1 cup sugar
2 cups of nuts (you can use between 1 and 2 depending on how you like your brittle)
