How to make the perfect Blondies | Cupcake Jemma

I’m not sure if it’s true that blondes have more fun, but what I do know is that you’ll have a lot more fun with these in your life. Deliciously squishy, fudgy Blondies made with burnt butter, brown sugar, macadamia nuts and chunks of white and milk chocolate. The quantities in this recipe will make enough for a hearty 8″ tin.

  1. Mary S says:

Delicious… although mines came out a tiny bit overcooked (for a brownie) however still DELICIOUS!!!

  2. Dorian says:

The Name of this recipe is basically true… they are perfect! Made twice the amount for superbowl night and ate like half of it by myself… they are sooooooo good!!! and so simple… Thanks a lot!

  5. War1050 says:

I made these over the weekend and they came out fantastic. I have never made or eaten a blondie so I wasn't sure what I was in for. The only thing I did different was substituted dried cranberries in place of the regular chocolate. These things were amazing. Great recipe that I'm sure I'll make many more times.

  6. Anushka Rodrigues says:

Awesome……your batter is too thick no….is it all right ?

  8. Peter A Edwards says:

Must try this though how it will hold together could be fun. Gluten Free Flour, can be a real pain to work with. May try with less sugar as I do not like sweet pastry.

  9. Veena Wilson says:

That burnt butter is called clarified butter or ghee

  10. GrimTV says:

Tried baking these twice. Both times they've came out far too cakey and i dont know what im doing wrong.

Thanks Sexy…Can I use SALTED BUTTER instead?

  15. Cuong Me says:

Love the recipe Jemma but a little sweet. If I reduce the sugar to 250g do I need to adjust the butter and flour? I like to reduce the butter a little if possible?

  16. S R says:

Hi Jemma, I've tried your half and half blondie/brownie at crumbs and doilies and they were amazing! How would I make it cos the timings for both those recipes are different and also in terms of layering, not sure how to do it!

  17. gary skinner says:

Hi Jemma. Love the Blondies but wanted to switch the recipe to make peanut butter blondies. Any tips on the best way?

  26. Claire Baker says:

    Yum yum.
