The Best Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies | Cupcake Jemma



Everyone needs a fail-safe, can-do-anytime, awesome Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe and this in MINE! They’re really light and soft and best eaten still slightly warm from the oven…mmmm… Oh sorry, you’re still there. Well, get your eyes and brain around this! Recipe below…

225g softened unsalted butter
40g soft brown sugar
180g dark muscovado sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large free-range eggs
270g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
250g chocolate chips

    Omg, I have tried your recipe to make cookies and they are delicious, soft and rich. I did substitute a few ingredients and it still worked!!!
    You can substitute:
    -white sugar for the idk musta… sugar
    -baking powder for baking soda
    It still works, trust me 🙂

    I started on her newer videos but this only confirms that she's been constantly adorable for YEARS! That's apparently just who she is; authentically adorable and cool.

    Such a good channel with an amazing host.
    I kinda wish she'd bring back quirky Cupcake Jemma, but I'll just chalk that up to maturing.

    Plus, more American accent slips would be nice… and more random laying it on thick with the British accent.

    For everyone asking about the muscavado sugar, I believe the description is meant to say light. If you look at the colour of her sugar in the video, it’s way lighter than dark muscavado sugar which I bought . Hopefully the cookies still turn out as delicious
